Our Pinup of the month for February is Rosie Von Rouge, from Texas! Like so many of us, Pinup has helped her embrace her body type and unique style.

How did you choose your Pinup name?
I've been "Rosie" since 2015 after the nickname was given to me for my style inspo, Rosie the Riveter. I'm always rockin a bandana! Rosie Von Rouge is fairly new, I chose Rouge because my favorite color is Red and for Baton Rouge, Lousiana, a special place to me!

Drink lots of water and moisturize for a healthy, effortless glow!
Why do you love pinup?
I love pinup and vintage style because it's a classy yet sexy way for a woman to find and showcase her inner confidence. It's a ton of fun!
What’s your favourite aspect of the Pinup and Rockabilly subculture?
I'm definitely more of a "Rockabilly" type of gal myself, rough around the edges with a heart of gold. I love the "badass" vibe Rockabilly gives off.
When did you know that pinup was the right thing for you?
When I was just 18 (9 years ago now) and still trying to figure out who I was or wanted to be, Living in California it was a common aesthetic, I started studying well known models, photographers and styling and I fell in love. It was the first time in my life I really embraced my body type and unique style.
What advice would you like to give to new pinups?
Enjoy yourself, do it for YOU and no one else, stay true to you and most of all, just have fun with it!! You don't have to fit a certain mold to consider yourself Pinup and you shouldn't allow ANYONE to tell you otherwise.
What's your favourite season?
I'm a spring gal! My birthday is in March, I LOVE the freshness and bright colors and the excitement that summer is upon us!
