USA, Connecticut - Dames for Soldiers

The Dames For Soldiers are a volunteer group of Connecticut "gals" who love and cherish veterans from the past, present and future. Dressed as pinups, in the retro style of an era long ago, we add a nostalgic flair to charity events that honour service members.  The Dames volunteer our time and charm for veteran and military based charity events. We assist in selling raffle tickets, volunteering at registration tables, posing for photos, and mingling with the crowd. We take tremendous pride in maintaining a professional, family friendly appearance and demeanour. Right now, we are volunteering at about 30 events every year.  Our motto: Supporting all service members past, present and future. TWe presently have 10 members. We are proud to be all shapes, sizes and ages. We have an annual meeting with a couple of smaller meetings each year.
